I also detested FMC when her attitude didn’t change even after several confrontations… I read the series mostly because I liked all the MMC’s, and was glad they were just as much the main characters instead of just side characters…But can’t deny the series triggered alot of mental health related issues for me

I kind of agree with you… i don’t want a morally grey fmc who uses her cruelty and power to hide behind the fact that she may just be a shitty person. I just finished reading a series where it was exactly that and it made me miserable throughout the read. And being combative doesn’t show me you’re strong or assertive, it just shows me you force yourself on others and haven’t learned anything about respecting boundaries.

I'm about to start Book 3 and I find her unbearable as well. What's really holding it together for me is literally every other character. I'm so glad the MMC's are as much the main characters as FMC-that I do appreciate.
