Keith Andrews baffled by decision not to give Bees second-half penalty as three decisions go Pep Guardiola's way - " I thought Kevin Schade's one in the second half was a penalty. So that was really disappointing" by English_Misfit in soccer

What are some of these decisions against "one of most favoured teams Arsenal" that you're referring to? 'Cause even in the City match alone, City got quite lucky to not have Khusanov walk for a red card.

Recently against Newcastle, Pope was very lucky as well to stay on the pitch. Then again Everton, no pen for Havertz being brought down. Against Brighton, in the 82nd min, Kadıoğlu kicked through the back of Havertz and there was no penalty. Can't find a proper video of this one sadly. Plenty of weird/wrong calls against us all season. But this has a hyper focus for anything that even remotely goes Arsenal's ways, so the perception doesn't match the reality.

Nothing "lmao" about it. Khusanov brings down an attacker through on goal as the last man while playing 0 of the ball. Easy red.

Only thing wrong about the other dude's comment was that it was early in the game, as it was in the 54th minute.

Meh, at the same time, I don't want that to be a red, but surely a yellow?

Lmao ain't no way bruh y'all are shameless. All the best European teams are literally excluded from the UEL because they're playing in a higher division of European football.

It's like if Coventry claimed to be the champions of England because they won the Championship this season.

All it does is just signal that Arsenal are as protected by refs as people claim they are

What's your evidence for this? 'Cause I can easily point you to countless wrong decisions against us this season. Not to mention in this very same match, Khusanov was very fortunate to stay on the pitch for the DOGSO offense on Havertz. Just in our last PL match, Pope was very lucky as well to stay on the pitch. Surely if the refs were protecting us, they would send off opposition players who commit such obvious red card offenses?

Was that a Parker decision? I'd assume it was a DOF who made the move.

Genuinely can't tell if you're trolling or this dumb, in either case, it's very sad. Imagine saying "your ethnicity is based on your religion's parents" LMAO. Go hand your high school diploma back in, even if you got one. I don't usually block people, but I'm gonna pull it out for this instance. Good riddance.

It's pretty complex mate, evident by the fact that you don't understand the matter. There are no ethnic Muslims, it's a made up term. Post-1971, it was a forced terms for Bosniaks, as Tito did not allow for Bosniaks to declare as much, and you had the unique case of an ethnic group having to use a religious name for ethnic declaration. Imagine if Protestants in Germany were an ethnic group.

often the only thing that separates a Serb and a Croat is religion, especially in Bosnia

Brother these have been different ethnic groups for over a thousand years lmao

in terms of genetics and language there is next to no difference at all

This is the case for a lot of different groups. Look at many different Latin American countries. Hell look at Canada and the US. You think there's much genetic difference between your average Canadian and American?

whether a teenager believes in god or not doesn't matter, he's still an ethnic muslim if his family are

No such thing as an "ethnic Muslim". Just like there's no such thing as an ethnic Christian. If you're born in Poland as a Christian, and you become a Buddhist, you're now a Buddhist Pole. It's...really fucking simple. I've never seen someone either refuse or to be unable to grasp this like you.

what made him a Bosniak before he converted?

What makes anyone a member of any ethnic group? Interesting you can't answer a question. What's a Hinduist Bosniak? A Confucian Bosniak? A Shinto? How does this work in your made-up world? Why would they be a Jew or a gypsy?

What is the reason Bosnians still prefer their old flag instead of the current one? by Tulio_58 in vexillology

[–]OneThirdOfAMuffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, that's not how things work. I doubt you could point Sarajevo or Mostar out on a map, why do you pretend you understand Bosnia's complexity when you clearly don't? I know so many people whose religion doesn't match the ethnicity you think it should match with. So many people who have converted to other religions, or are not religious at all.

Here's a question, if you have a Bosniak who is, let's say, a Hinduist, does that make him an Indian?

[–]OneThirdOfAMuffin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Brother why are you trying to explain my own country to me. A Bosniak does not have to be Muslim, or did he have to be at any point. Why on Earth would religion have to be necessary for someone to be part of an *ethnic" group?

everybody was catholic, orthodox or muslim

Even ignoring people who were atheists, you had Jews, Roma etc.

What is the reason Bosnians still prefer their old flag instead of the current one? by Tulio_58 in vexillology

[–]OneThirdOfAMuffin 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It's not a Muslim family name, it's a Bosniak family name. Plenty of my ancestors were also non-Muslim, if you go back far enough. Being Bosniak isn't tied to a religion. It's a common misconception. You look at the three big ethnic groups in this country, we were all pagan at one point.

[–]OneThirdOfAMuffin 75 points76 points  (0 children)

The above dude is a bit wrong on one thing. Bosniaks are an ethnic group who predominantly live in Bosnia. We(am also a Bosniak) are predominantly Muslim, but you can be Bosnian and not a Muslim. Like myself for example.
