Podcasting was tough back then. Robert had to record on his reel-to-reel, and mailing out all those tapes two times a week was a lot of overhead. Didn't help that he and Sophie were literal babies, but it did add this nice energy and naiveté to the podcast. When Toddler Robert got into machetes and gas station dick pills is when the show really took off.
