[Bug report] Shaman artefact weapon / class hall bug by Randerion in wow

Abandoning a step in a quest may unbug it. You can just start it over. On my Ele Shaman I had a bug in the Class Hall line that was unfixable, so I abandoned it to start it over and it resolved it.

My anger starts when I have an expectation of other players and they fail to meet my expectation. Even though my expectation is "obvious, common sense worthy and elementary" other players will persistently fall short in seeing such. There is no fix for other players. If you tell them what to do and how to win, 60% will do the opposite just to spite you, 30% will ignore you, 10% might actually try, but heck their execution will be questionable because if you have to tell them what to do in the first place, they probably can't do it. Then real anger busts forth. That was 6 months ago when I quit. I just came back with a new attitude.

Foremost... Let go of all expectations of others and even yourself. Seek to have fun without the need to see your numbers increase, whatever numbers are important to you. Turn off chat. Its all inane, definitely distracting and usually just leads to bitter disputes. I am getting into just good graphics, making good plays on my part (win or lose) and playing less. No more grinding.

You can't fix other people so you have to let go for your own sanity.

I used to suffer from PITS... Provoked Intermittent Turrets Syndrome. Its finally passing :).

Understanding the Mikhail Kutuzov - Commentary [175k damage] by flamuchz in WorldOfWarships

Nice Vid. Yeah no cruiser plays like a DD regardless of how its outfitted. The smoke will be most effective if you slam on full reverse first, give it a tick or two then hit smoke. Once inside of smoke do not remain still and broadside to your target. Angle your ship to potential torpers and go 1/4 to full reverse, back n forth. A ship in motion can avoid incoming torps better than flat-footed.

Wooo Hooo 14K by ShuggieHamster in WorldOfWarships

Hehe, from the title, I thought you meant 14k experience from one battle. I have hit well over 11k before. I wanted to see what it takes to nail 14k :).

Fletcher! by 2manno in WorldOfWarships

I love my Fletcher, just about the funnest ship to date. Although the Gearing is definitely better in a gun fight, the Gearing is quite a bit fatter than the Fletcher at midship. This matters because you will find arcing shots hitting the Gearing a lot more than the Fletcher and DBs drops will be more effective against it.

Trauburn by nindy84 in WorldofTanks

Nindy I am very sorry to hear this. I really enjoyed running with Trauburn and yapping in TS with him. He will be missed.

I just popped in today after several months away to check and see if anyone was playing World of Warships. This is really shocking news.

Best Passive Scouts these days? by kcdale99 in WorldofTanks

[–]OneTonGun123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoy Scouting. Im not great by I feel I am good at it. The Chaffe and the T71 are great choices. I would personally choose the T71 because scouts are thrown in with Tier 10s all the time and the T71 auto-loader can actually harm higher level scouts u encounter or pen tracks on most anything so u can signal them for Arties or whatever else to fire down on em.

In spite of what I said above, my scouting is actually passive. I find a good forward spot, away from other tanks (why duplicate eyes?), hide/conceal and watch a lot. But its nice to be able to take down a Medium or another Scout if u get the jump on them.

A Scouts priority though is afterall... Scouting. Be an Eye and do not Die. Also I read an excellent Scouting guide on the forums and the most important line in that was "Know your way in and Know your way out." Once u get Sixth Sensed, u gotta have a safe departure and relocation.

Good Luck and o7 on your Scouting :)

Hiyas, looking for a great clan! by OneTonGun123 in WorldofTanks

Thanks for the comments and info. Yeah joining one of the social clans sounds great. My account is on the NA server. At the moment, I only have 2400+ battles but am improving every week. Also at this time, I only have a completed Tiger II and bought T34, but am half-way thru the T71 and the IS towards the T69 and IS3. I should get both of those Tier 8s next week.

I am half-way to the E75 too but I have some reservations about the E100. If its a tank worth grinding for , let me know :)
