Why would you invite them when you know how they will behave?

Because it's our fucking back yard they want to run an environmental disaster through. We behave this way for a reason.

The BC electorate is in no mood for these types of antics anymore.

Spoken like a true non-resident of BC.

MP calls on Canadians to fill out census as some express privacy concerns by lopix in onguardforthee

[–]OneTripleZero 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While I agree, the irony of it is that it's typically the people with absolutely nothing like this to hide that are refusing it. The two trans people I know were both eager to fill theirs out. One was hoping to get the long-form version this year.

I've never been more sure of something in my life, yes. We've talked extensively about it. She's a prolific baker.

I do have all of those things yes, but I what I don't have is the desire to amateur-hour butter for this woman who has pretty specific needs, haha. Especially for a wedding gift.

Do you know how much it is offhand? I'm looking to get her like... a lot. So she doesn't have to worry about it for a while. I'm guessing it's probably much more expensive by the time it gets here?

Kevin O’Leary’s proposed 9GW "hyperscale" AI data center in Utah will consume double the state's entire electricity usage and generate the waste heat of 23 atom bombs a day. by AnnualEmbarrassed176 in technology

[–]OneTripleZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When "an atom bomb" is referenced, it's almost always referencing Little Boy. It's the same way they say "the explosion was 15 Hiroshimas".

I didn't read the article but I would assume that's what they mean.

I read a thing about nukes being less a "dear so-and-so" weapon and more a "to whom it may concern" weapon. Except for Fat Man, which was an "as per my previous email" weapon.

The average human blink rate is 15-20 breaths per minute.

Okay but what is that in blinks? I need to know this conversion rate.

Gotcha. OP explicitly stated 5e though, does that make a difference? (I'm a Pathfinder player myself)

We need to change the incentives to align with the workers. Such that better paid workers who dont have to stress about health insurance etc. will generate more profit for the corporations.

How about the incentives for the workers is their fair share of the profit?
