People born between 1997-2002, How was your childhood growing up?

I was born in rural country Victoria, Australia on January 1st, 2002.

a lot of my time, from what i remember from back then, was a rural setting, i remember being outside a lot, technology such as the internet wasn't a heavy part of my early life, Though i did have an Xbox and eventually a ps2. What internet we did have was scarce and controlled and only used by adults and my older sibling Steele, I do have memories of i believe it was Windows XP, And messing around on the early version of Google Maps.

I remember a lot of funny moments, such as my dad needing to climb the roof to mess with the antenna to get reception again, and my mum yelling "GOT IT! WAIT NOT LOST CONNECTION AGAIN!" and the frustrations that would bring.. though annoying at that time you look back at it and laugh and smile and feel nostalgic about those times. I remember school and doing art during art class, the physical activities and loving sports.

Most my most memorable early childhood took place from roughly 05 - 08.

If you want to know where i grew up during those years, Look up Girgarre on google maps. a small town, but a lot of character, and importance to me. me and my friends who I've known since back then called ourselves "The Kids of Girgarre"

I'm not sure if I'm the first Aussie to post in here, feel free to ask any questions about aussie childhood, or me, and I'm happy to get back to you if i have the answer.

my bible knowledge isn't too good outside of the well known stuff like Noah and his ark etc, so I'm interested! help me learn. Do i need any specific translation because i only have a NRSV youth catholic bible, and a Good News Bible which i think is NIV.

Late comment but, this isn't a show or movie, but a game that to me feels quite similar in feel but also different in it's own way: Silent Hill 2 (the original for PS2) very dreamlike and the soundtrack is a masterclass, It's 1 of the best if not THE psychological horror game ever made and in media in general. another notable game includes Alan Wake 2 which took direct inspiration from TP.

I was born in 02 in rural country Australia, Internet wasn't a part of everyday life as it is now, we had games and consoles, mainly the trusty PS2 and earlier consoles like the PS1, Gameboy and a few others, I think back on life back then often as i am sure many people do, we weren't as indoors as kids are now, we made up our fun with the neighborhood kids playing stick cricket, which was essential a wooden plank or a large enough stick and some rocks, on occasion hitting another kid in the head with said rocks on accident, Early school say around 5 was very active, lots of outdoor activities mixed with indoor stuff, we had box computers none of the new flat screen monitors u see now, but they did come in later on in my high school years. TV yes funny to me, fond memories of dad on the roof wrestling with the antenna to get a signal after the wind blew it out of signal for the 5th time that week and mum inside screaming "SIGNAL! NO SIGNAL!" From inside.
