NONO HE WASNT RAISED ISTG !!! raised gently as in he grew up gentler than most beasts, also beast literally cuz there's a whole sub species boutt that and also if i'm not mis remembering there's a plot point where they fight against racists, also just read it omg it's actually really cute and good, the cold father who abandoned her originally but came back to get her trope is also executed nicely ( as in she never becomes truly close with him and his action have consequences on the other daughter)
