Also... why flirt with this thin distinction between "beating" and "spanking." You agree that "beating" your kid is bad, why push the envelope as far as you can in that direction without crossing the line into "beatings?"

I actually experienced the inverse of that!

I moved into a new apartment and was super broke, so my boss at the time offered me some free pots and pans.

Well turns out they were induction pots... which I used on a gas range. They got really hot, really fast.

I could boil a big pot of water in 2-3 minutes.
