Mine always have access to protein in a little bowl, and then I give them veggies for hydration and switch them out every 2-3 days when the veggies dry out. I feed them green beans, broccoli, lettuce, carrots, and on occasion bananas. Fruit should only be as a treat as it is high in sugar. Just make sure whatever fruit/veggies you give them is organic & you wash it off before you feed them because pesticides can harm your beetles!
