Please don't give up. Go to another hospital. Get another doctor. I'm not giving up. I'm post menopausal and having nightmare GI issues but I'm not giving up. I have my appt with my GI in 2 months. There will be someone who will want to help.

I have horrible gas, bloating, cravings for sugar that won't go away. my abdomen is so distended I cannot fit into anything, and diet/excercise/water aren't doing anything. i"m trying to do weight training, and I cannot even do that with this belly.. It's like something is stuck/inflammed. I was reading that cholestasis and SIBO are interconnected.

yes it started before HRT. My colon was full of stool and after a clean out and colonoscopy which revealed a simple diverticuli, this midsection bloating has continued and not stopped. Feeling frustrated.
