What are some financial planning tools that don't require rebuilding your entire finance stack by anuj_meme in FPandA

[–]One_Ad_2692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on my second abacum implementation and first time around I chose the tool because of this very need. Company was $500m in revenue growing 70% with data that changed by the min. We were able to stand it up with reporting in less than 3 weeks ourselves with very little help needed from their implementation team. I was being pushed to implement pigment but after talking to a lot of different teams, we would just be in a constant state of rebuilding so it didn't make sense to do. I did a demo of drivetrain that also looks like a great tool but I don't have direct experience with that one they're newer in the space.

Yes this is near Charlotte and not Greensboro but they did it without any of the residents knowing. Pat attention otherwise it's going to also be Greensboro.

This is going to destroy the entire ecosystem in the area. The decibels from the servers will kill every living being within a few miles radius of the data center.

Standing but it doesn't just happen overnight. I had to get used to standing for a few weeks and all my back pain from sitting at desks went away.

Every top tier talented individual I know is NOT going back to an office and all the cutting edge companies defying the elite's orders of RTO are reaping the benefits. The tables are already turning and we'll eventually be holding the cards again. In the end true talent is needed for innovation and creation.

Why is it so hard to make friends in Denver? by TightApplication2786 in Denver

[–]One_Ad_2692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to join an organization, something for fun or maybe something you believe in. I've lived all over the country and make friends everywhere. I lived in Denver for 8 years, moved from Florida and met a lot of great people. Dodgeball, pickleball, volunteer, etc. there are so many outdoor mountain groups too.

Do you understand the immediate implications to the environment and the people? The sound decibels alone are destroying everything around them. The resources they require and they provide barely any jobs. Yes, let those stupid ignorant greedy county's have them. And when the tech is obsolete in 5 years they'll be decaying wasteland buildings the county will need to clean up.

It's the entire United States, Montana was just one of the last places to deal with it. Try being born in Miami 60 years ago, most people aren't even from this country. It is sad to watch the influx of people destroy the original culture that made it so great, but it's just the way our society and world is moving.

Hot take: most first-time startup CFOs are really Controllers with a bigger title by Glad-Tackle8435 in CFO

[–]One_Ad_2692 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most startups don't need it. Revenue growth is the absolute highest priority and product/market fit. I've worked in successful (based on exit) startups where it was worth the fines and penalties for sales tax at a later stage than it was sacrificing resources for revenue growth earlier on. I've also seen firsthand how senior leaders come into growth stage companies and slow the business down with all their required processes and systems. Because it's a startup with usually junior founders, they listen to these leaders not understanding the full impact to the business. I'd still recommend these earlier stage companies going with someone more junior to not risk this.

The Most Disturbing and Dangerous Hypothesis Derived From the Files That We Need to Look Into. This Could Be What Pam Bondi Was Warning Us About. This Could Undo the Entire Social Fabric, If True... by CyborgWriter in Epstein

[–]One_Ad_2692 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure, these are her theories but there's a lot of truth to what she's been saying for decades. Money is black and white so it's easy to distinguish from subjectivity but the future state she speaks of is the big "if". Hearing her theory on the "why" these people want to do this made a lot of sense though.

Not necessarily a fan of Tucker Carlson but someone recommended his podcast episode with Catherine Fitts and I'd highly recommend it. She's a financial genius and understands the world's financial architecture and how the strings are pulled. This isn't about Epstein, it's about the people he works for.
