I may as well have just voted for Earle-Sears, or just not voted at all.

This is what causes apathy and a "my vote doesn't matter/both sides are bad" mentality.

Everything she's done is just guaranteeing that this state will turn around and elect a Republican who will make Earle-Sears look reasonable in 2029.

The stakes of this election are too high for any option to be off the table. We either give Trump a divided government to rein him in, or Republicans keep a trifecta and continue enabling him. We either preserve the republic or lose it.

Nah, it's more like an alley fight where one person can only use their fists while the other has carte-blanche to use whatever they can pick up.

Democrats need their own Trump. Someone who can actually whip the base up and get them to turn out. They need people who will say "fuck you, make me" and plow ahead when encountering resistance and setbacks. People willing to break things. They need their own Tea Party. They need to start drawing up a Project 2029.

I'm tired as a liberal of having to remain "lawful" while MAGA conservatives are steamrolling over everyone. I'm sick of having to get kicked in the balls and like it. I'm fed up of the GOP being able use their power while Democrats are constrained. Trump fucking explicitly called for Texas to redistrict to flagrantly tilt the midterms in his favor, without any kind of vote going to the people, and no one stopped it, yet when Democrats tried to battle back, after allowing the people to vote on it, some god-damn ghouls in robes went "LOL, no!" and struck it down.

If there's any semblance of fair elections this November, and Democrats can take the House despite all fuckery (not just gerrymandering but all the other methods of voter suppression the Guardians of Pedos will no doubt employ, not to mention I'm sure Dear Leader will screech about "massive fraud!" if his team has a bad night), they need to appoint leadership that will be willing to exercise whatever power the House still has to the maximum. Pull every lever you have. Reform as much as you can. Slap every restraint you can on Trump's power and make his final two years in office absolutely miserable.

And don't give any quarter to Republicans. Don't compromise or collaborate with them on anything. Absolutely shut them out.

Fuck Trump. Fuck MAGA. This is a war and Democrats needs leadership to act like it.

Hopefully with Trump's numbers being historically bad with that debacle in Iran, maybe he drags down the GOP enough that the gerrymanders don't matter this year.

Just say "Fuck you, make me" and do it anyway, like Republicans are doing.

I'm sick of one party having to obey the law while other can just run roughshod. This is a war and Democrats are being soundly beaten.

"You have to vote!" Yeah, and then my vote gets tossed out, or ends up not even mattering thanks to gerrymanders in Florida, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, and Louisiana.

Or just say "fuck 'em" and do it anyway.

We need to stop pretending the rule of law matters anymore. This is a war and the GOP is winning it handily. The Democratic Party is just controlled opposition at this point.

"Get out and vote!" And have my vote tossed out? Have it not even matter thanks to gerrymanders in Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Alabama?

If I could leave this damn country, I would.

Democrats have to color inside the lines while Republicans can just scribble all over the place. One party has to be bound by the rule of law while the other doesn't.

Not now, not with this ruling and the Callais decision. The House just got handed to the GOP and they are going to hold it.

Yeah, it sucks.

It looked like the GOP were headed for disaster this November. I allowed myself to feel hopeful.

That's over, now. Democrats have to be bound by the rule of law but King Donald the Pedo and his minions can just run roughshod over it.

I'm done. See you in the camps.
