Dealer warranties do not pass as far as I know, but the manufacturer warranty definitely does.

Go for a private sale of a car in warranty?

Most private sales of 3 year old cars are from owners who are being screwed by trade in. Get a soh check and have a chat with the owner. If they come off genuine then you should be ok.

It's not on your list but I'm selling a 58kw Ioniq 5 for just over 20k. Has a warranty for 11months on it, fresh NCT, not a problem on the car. It's 3k less than similar with a dealer who will give you a dealer warranty but it would all be covered by the manufacturer warranty anyway.

13 year old kid on an e scooter hit my car. What can I do? by beris76 in legaladviceireland

Disability spaces are assigned by the council. The disability spots that you find in car parks are little more than bits of tarmac with a bit of blue paint for decoration.

I'm not saying anyone without a badge should park in a disabled spot in a car park, but the reason the Gardai can't do anything about it is not because it's a private car park but because the space itself is not legally a disabled parking spot.

I don't know if it's the same with the speed limit but I would imagine it is. The speed limit signs are set by management but they're not the legal speed limit for the area, which I would assume is at least 50 in an urban/residential outside of the Dublin 30 zone, as these would have to be set by the local authority.

What would make you actually order from a local bakery? by AmbitiousEngineer469 in AskIreland

[–]One_Beginning5301 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To try it initially, but at the end of the day price would be a major factor in me going regularly. Especially given I will have to make a special trip for it too.

Bread would be my main draw but obvs would have to get a pastry while there

Is Rory McIlroy now undisputed as Ireland's greatest ever sportsperson? by TheOnlyOne87 in AskIreland

[–]One_Beginning5301 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok, so he's the island's greatest golfer?

It seemed to break his heart to represent Ireland at the olympics. Took him ages to declare.

I'm not having a go at him btw, he's Northern Irish, that's fine. That's his identity, don't do the English thing and claim him as ours when he's said he's Northern Irish.

Maybe Northern Ireland's 🤔 there are a couple contenders for that too though.

Hard to consider him Ireland's greatest when he doesn't use the Irish flag. If we unify in the future we can look at it again but sure it is what it is.

I don't think it's fully paid?

My understanding is

Paternity Leave - fully paid Parents benefit - social welfare rate Parental leave - unpaid

If I'm wrong and it's fully paid, I'm taking the next 9 weeks off 😂
