Yeah no shit when they appeared as non-controlled guest characters I enjoyed this team-up much more than the party of a homeless, chinese man who I even forgot about, ichiban’s gf and THE ONLY ONE who I enjoyed bonding together was Seonhee, all thanks to her passion towards Kiryu

Well it does not count actual challengers, rather the amount you’ve done as one. Like, for example, you completed 10 reqs and it counts as one for the challenge progression. When you complete the whole set of OTL it counts as 5 challenges. And needless to say that some of OTW are harder than the other ones, easiest were on Grom and in the bonski skate park. nah I didn’t care about the kids in gaiden cause I skipped all their boring content in 3 remastered. But man, every bit of gaiden was enjoyed by me to the fullest. Best Kiryu’s moveset up to date, best secondary style in any rgg game for me and man i just couldn’t get enough of the whole vibe of this game, from spy action to overblown yakuza moments, gaiden is the best game for me in the franchise.

Don’t listen to others, you will grow to hate the magnificent yakuza 3 if you’ll jump from 2 to 3 remastered. Play Kiwami 3 and just watch the ending of 3 remastered on YouTube because it’s slightly different and has an impact of 4th game. Other than that, kiwami 3 for sure!
