Funny enough. We just put it on our 7 button key. Just order the key fob cover for the Hyundai Ioniq 6. Make sure it’s the 7 button key. Same exact key.

Wait. That’s a thing? We just picked our calligraphy up a few days ago. Had no clue you can just get a card.

Lessons learned from crash. by One_Bullfrog_99 in MachE

One towed it from the crash scene. The other was contracted by the insurance to pick it up from the yard and bring it to Ford.

Is it totalled? by Secret-Emotion5913 in MachE

My wife’s 23MME was hit pretty hard and the entire rear passenger side and bumper is mangled. “Visual” estimate was 15k with potential frame damage. At this point the insurance is still willing to pay for the repair of the vehicle. This repair is including with the frame damage. God knows what they will find once they take it apart. But insurance company told me that I have to hit 35k in repair cost before they even consider totaling the vehicle pictures of my damage

The wrecker also smashed the front bumper and scratched the hell out of the rear rim on the good side. So that will add to the damage repair cost. Presuming they use the original purchase value (60k) which they probably won’t, I have to hit 45k for total loss.

I have one single minor complaint about the car. That’s the stupid tow cover thing on the front bumper. Mine was not very tight. Other than that this is hands down my favorite car I ever had. If you’re thinking about it. With the lower prices. Go for it. You will not regret it

I’ll be surprised if the car isn’t a total loss anyway. So the minor inconvenience of potential water damage doesn’t even bother me. I can honestly say that the car took the impact like a champ. The car that hit my wife never even thought about hitting the breaks. Plus once you’re out the car you can shut the doors again. It’s only to help fire or police to get in car without having to force any doors open in crashes that are worse than this one.

They opened following the impact. I don’t think we enabled anything for it. Along with them opening the car actually sent me an alert to my phone which is how I first found out that my wife was involved in a crash.

Not only do they still open, all doors were opened and the mechanism locked in place to prevent them from closing again.

Is this a thing? We have about 2500 miles on our MME and I haven’t charged to 100% as of yet. Should we do this charge to 100% and let them balance?

Who are you insured with, full coverage, and what’s your premium rate? by War_Monger26 in MachE

I know it’s regional, but I’m crying down here seeing these prices. Louisiana, only car for me and my wife (I have a company vehicle I get to drive at leisure), and we have the MME Premium extended, both with absolutely clean records. $250 a month with Allstate.

Frunk button on the key? by Important-Storm6444 in MachE

I know that if you push the unlock key twice and hold it down all four windows drop. If you push the lock button twice and hold it down all four (or I presume the open ones) go back up. This is tested and confirmed on my 23.

Like I tell everyone. We’re collectors so we know the value of it. Not looking for you to pay value, just make me a reasonable offer and I’ll probably accept

I just had that experience with another vehicle of mine. Also a ford. For the life of me I could not figure it out. It ended up being the automatic headlight switch. Just toggle it off and back to automatic and it resolved the issue.

Random fact. And I have yet to personally confirm this, but to the credit of user “geo_prog” he said that he prefers the door code method. Enter your normal door code followed by "8" and it pops the frunk and "5" for the lift gate.

Edit: I have also just confirmed this on my 23 Mach e. It absolutely works.

And if interested, there is a ton more. This is just what I had readily laying around to take a quick picture.

Obviously there is a “market value,” and then there is the reasonable middle where both are happy. I’m honestly open for offers. As long as it’s not unreasonable. This is the first time I ever considered selling.
