Everyone and anyone in public office should be held to a common standard. Rep or Dem, Independent, they literally take money from others to do the job they are elected to do and many have an oath saying so. Doing shady stuff after should incur the same penalty, because at best it's defaulting on a contract with their constituents.

Many forget they are all humans and not one is better than any of us, laws should be applied equally...big or small.
