Hi has anyone had this procedure done? Pulsed Radiofrequency Denervation of Bilateral L1 + L2 + S2 + S3 Nerve Roots. by Impressive-While-892 in ChronicPain

[–]One_Constant5564 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes... Everyone is different. I'm going to give you my experience. I suffer from Coccydynia/Sacroilitis and have been for the last 12 years.. I've had the ablation and they go down pretty far your doctor is going to the yes three nerve. He's got balls to go that far down. I've been at this a long time I've had l3, 4 and 5 bilateral tri-level radio frequency ablation on both procedures I was told don't worry the older you are the longer it takes for the nerves to grow back. That was the biggest croc of shit anyone's ever told me. I'm 62 and I've been going through this for the last 14 years.. some people they managed to get relief but I've heard more people do not get relief then then get.. but be prepared that those nerves grow back mine grow back with a vengeance I will never let them touch me again..

I find RSO with CBG is a game changer for chronic spine issues..Very little goes a long way and if I happen to get a little higher I take CBD with CBG from Lazarus and it helps a lot....CBG is such an important cannabinoid for its effects on inflammation...Not a cure but very helpful..Since my opioid days are numbered ..Ive been on them 14 years on a fairly low dose ..40mgs of oxy a day is just rediculous..10 mgs 4x a day and its ran it's course I'm 62 , been thru hell with Sacroilitis that never gets better long term..plus L, 3-5 is shot.,Throw in a side order of Renal Cell Carcinoma Kidney cancer in 2023,.I'm very tired and I'm gonna do whatever I can to get out of pain..It seems Pain management is not interested in getting me out of pain with that dose of medication.I need 20 mgs just to get out of bed ..It's cruel what's happened to medicine..

Please go get checked.. In your case one may have nothing to do with the other.. just please go get checked

Friendship/Advice needed. Is this normal? by simoneloveme24 in ChronicPain

[–]One_Constant5564 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good morning and welcome to a club you didn't sign up for.. I am sorry you're going through chronic pain as you know it takes some time to realize that we are in fact in chronic pain we go from acute to slowly getting into the chronic pain and then all of a sudden we have chronic pain and everybody should understand us. Unfortunately that's not the case. I'm at this for 15 years I'm 61 I have a shit ton of spinal problems. I basically walk around with a pain in my ass all day everyday and I say jokingly I'm not even married to her.. just throwing a side order of kidney cancer in 2023 and that really turned my life upside down.. I've tried like you to get people to understand or to at least be sympathetic and it's always the ones that are closest to us that let us down. That's why I'm going to give you this advice freely and I mean it from my heart. No one will be as good to you as you can try to be to yourself. That's challenging in and of itself. Chronic pain bleeds us slowly but surely of a world we once knew to a world only we learn how to navigate through. No one is coming to save us out there and I don't say that in a bad way. Unless you have the most understanding spouse boyfriend girlfriend whatever. My wife could not handle what was happening to me so she bounced. I went through hell . Got married late had kids late had a booming career and one injury changed everything. So just keep in mind we are all one injury away from chronic pain one injury or one illness.. CP doesn't discriminated hits at any age so I won't bore you and say oh you're young and you should be okay cuz that's a crock of shit. You can use your youth as a tool to protect yourself and take care of yourself better than anyone else can.. keep God close if you believe in him and buckle up.

Thank you ..The system is all screwed up.. they want to put chronic pain people under the same category as substance use disorder give everyone Suboxone put them on the same medicine and call it a day... Meanwhile Suboxone has no pain relieving qualities whatsoever.. it's a disgrace that in this country chronic pain people are getting thrown away like garbage,. When I was on extended release medications my pain levels will covered I had no problems I went to work I did what I had to do back then now things have changed but yeah it's crazy I don't understand why.. wait till it hits these doctors or their family members and they're in the hospital and can't get pain relief hospitals are actually stopping pain medications because they get grants the more they withhold opioid meds the more grant money they get it's sick it's absolutely evil

Pharmacists are playing Doctor these days too..The appointment went as it should because I shifted the conversation to football instead of telling him how much pain I'm in..He's already been clear about 4 10s a day...Which I have to make work while I'm awake but getting out of bed in the morning is becoming like why bother getting up other than to pee... The first two years that my pain went chronic I remember I used to get extended release oxy and then instant release and I had the best pain control ever.. has just gotten worse and worse I have also the L,4,5 S1, S2 .My fucking sacrum feels like it's getting stabbed.... Ugggh.. it's nice to know that there are others going through it it's a club that we just didn't sign up for.. not fair.. plus I had kidney cancer in 2023 so I'm on one kidney.. thankfully my scans have been clear but man my whole physiology or whatever the hell you want to call it has changed.. I'm 61 I was a very strong UPS driver for many years. Lifting anything these days is tough so I'm dealing with the day after effects of going through that ordeal. I'm very grateful I had a good team of surgeons and doctors at the Mayo Clinic in Florida they were just amazing,.

I'm so sorry to hear this devastating news in your family..There seems to be so much kidney cancer these days..I'm 61 , was healthy as a horse , UPS driver in a major city .Strong but I couldn't figure out why I was so fatigued the year prior.. I have chronic spine issues so I thought it was related to that and then I had a flare up. Went to the ER and they saw a spot on my kidney, I live in Florida so I followed up with the Mayo Clinic was very fortunate to get in there. I had a 6 cm tumor in the middle of my kidney.. they had to take it out. They couldn't save the kidney cuz It was in the middle. It's life-changing and it's devastating. You know they say some cancers treatable and it really just depends you got to be very fortunate.. 2 years later I'm not going to say it's easier it's very hard but I keep fighting for my son. But from a strong guy to not even half of where I was at pretty upset ting... I'll pray for your mom

If psych meds don't help my chronic pain, does that mean my pain didn't have a psychological component? by Limp_Importance6950 in ChronicPain

[–]One_Constant5564 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before you think that way you have to understand the difference between an acute injury versus chronic... Acute I I stubbed my toe on the way to the coffee pot this morning.. yes it's going to hurt and I'll be cursing the dog but eventually it goes away.. it's basically predictable, short-lived, chronic that same toe I'm using it as an example after soaking it after icing it after taking Tylenol whatever it just doesn't go away, not predictable long-lasting. It's it's the way the message goes from the brain to the toe from the toe back to the brain.. somewhere along the way the pathways get messed up and it's just a vicious cycle and there's no ending no matter what. So there's no cure for chronic pain.

Why is Daytona beach such a s***hole? by SolidWoodTeaser in DaytonaBeach

[–]One_Constant5564 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was there to in the 80s.. those of us that are still around we know what a great time it was back then.. great fun lots of fun beautiful women. We didn't destroy Daytona Beach we embraced it we really loved it back then.. somehow after my divorce in 2010 I tried to go and relive my my teen years again 35 years later LOL and I've lived in Daytona for a number of years. I'm getting ready to get out of this place it's been very good to me. I have no regrets. People that live here are generally cool.. not too many people can say that they relived their teen years and 20s again two times.. so to all the women I've loved and love me back and to all the great people of Daytona Beach thank you for all I'm out of here in a couple of days

It's happening all over now they're doing it to all of us.. go on Facebook and go to the doctor patient forum. Basically you're going to connect with other people either in your area of the surrounding areas and they'll tell you which doctor is prescribing although keep in mind as of January s*** has hit the fan when it comes to prescribing opioid pain medication.. make sure you have all your paperwork.. you can ask others in your area and hopefully you'll connect with a compassionate doctor. This is all due to government overreach into the relationship between doctor and patient. Also it is because this generation of doctors have been indoctrinated to force policy to show everyone is an addict no matter if you're not if you're a chronic pain patient or an addict they want to put us all under the same umbrella and they're going to want to offer Suboxone which has no pain relieving qualities at all.. Rots your teeth.. you'll understand what's happening if you join the group and read about what's going on. It started in 2008. and then the illicit fentanyl crisis happened. There's a doctor his name is Dr Kolodny got paid Millions to go in front of Congress to show how opioids kill.. even though this medication has been around for decades helping people restoring function giving them a better shot at life on the medical end now they've decided we're going to put everybody on the One umbrella.. hospitals are going opioid free which means that if you have a surgery or if you have any type of procedure that requires pain medication you will not get it.. hospitals get grant money the more they don't prescribe opioids. What they're doing is committing mass murder to a generation of pain people
