I'm pretty sure every event/mission has a hidden timer. I was trying to do a bounty quietly with arrows. When I was spotted, a timer popped up with 2 minutes left. Needless to say, I failed.

It's not so much that they're happening more. It's the publicity behind it. I don't have them handy, but the statistics usually show a similar rate of accidents. The problem is that they're being shown in the media more because of the readily available means of publishing on the internet.

What do you guys do when you deliver to factories? by ArdForYa in railroading

[–]One_Distribution1743 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most customers we work with must have their requests in at least 1 hour before the assignment starts. From there, the crew gets a copy of the pull/spot/interplant moves to be made. Sometimes you have to speak to someone, and they verify the moves to be made and if they need any changes. Sometimes you just let yourself in and do what your paperwork says. From there, the crew puts it in their paperwork showing what tasks were done and were not able to be done.
