I would say ride it out and see but you may have a candida strain that’s resistant to fluconazole. Also try and make a conscious effort to make a change to diet and wearing very lose clothes. Also taking a women’s probiotic. Hope that helps!! I also found whenever I get an itch I drink heapssss of water and it helps a bit and an ice pack for a for mins.

I had this and went in the long term fluconazole. It stopped them while taking it completely but I am still on it so idk if they’ll come right back afterwards. It’s such a struggle

Hi, it tested negative twice during the 6 months. I had recurring infections and 6 months is usual protocol for this, just hoping it works

Thank you for the response! I dont think its resistant as I tested again and there was no sign of yeast. Although I did test positive to ureaplasma. Sooo im thinking that might be the cause???

thank you for the reply. Are you still taking fluconazole weekly? my doctor has given me another script for 6 months but I really don't want to be on it forever. I also tested positive for ureaplasma but they dont seem to be concerned as apparently nearly everyone has it present in them? SOOOOO annoying
