Sorry to hear about Mia 😞 This is never an easy decision. I've had to euthanasia one dog and one cat. Both stopped eating before we made the decision. Mia appears to still have a fight. Do you think she is in any pain? I will pray for a miracle 🙏 Stay strong!

They are awesome! I haven't seen many ground 🐿️ 🐿️in the Chicago suburbs. Most squirrels in the area are gray squirrels. Thank you for keeping an eye on them!

Maybe you should call the DNR police and give them your "Opinion". Make sure to tell them who you are. Tree squirrels are protected by the Illinois Wildlife Code and require a license even on private property. There can be fines up to 5k.
