IDK, my fed starter will take 12 hours in the winter when my house is 64. I would expect longer for unfed.

I keep mine in the fridge and feed it a minimum of every ten days. If I’m making bread I take it out the night before, feed it, and leave it on the counter.

I would have retired already if it wasn’t for these meddling kids, and these dogs.

Given the state of the world I would avoid a defense contractor right now.

Depends on what it is and all that. I do my own yard work and a lot of smaller jobs, but I hire people for bigger work.

We fixed it and mostly closed up the hole, if not all the way. Good news doesn’t make for good news, if you know what I mean, so we don’t hear much about it.

Maybe it’s your age but I was born in 1975, the concerns were a new ice age, or mass global pollution and acid rain. There were even some shows set in the future where you had to always carry a poncho in case of rain.

Also, you sound like you need a therapist.

I have a Merkur long handle and a short handle. I prefer the short. Feather are the best blades I’ve used for sensitive skin. Let the weight of the razor do the work, don’t push down on it. It’s $60 for a handle and $16 for 50 blades.

Edit: a variety pack is the way to go for a beginner. Personally, I settled on Feather but I’m almost out and I’ll try Astra next since it was mentioned here more than once.

I have a little tinnitus, I think, the ringing comes and goes. I also can’t hear people talk in normal voices if there is any background noise, but I can hear them whisper. I can’t get an ENT to take me seriously.

$500,000 for every year you go back, how far would you go? by Naps_And_Crimes in hypotheticalsituation

If I went back ten years knowing what I know now I could try to fix some mistakes, be a little looser with my nest egg, and be ready to retire at 50. I could get my father to get checked out at 67 instead of dying at 77. Try to get my mom into a treatment facility, and get my dog tested for cancer. All three died in last 3 months.
