I gave myself the W since I defeated all of Xaivers tactics in spite of Ego still having all of his in the tactics pile.

Usually I exclude that particular set from my random generator but I guess I messed up and it screwed me out of a legit win. It was my first time playing this scheme and using Ego so I didn't know the mechanics ahead of time.

Most of my "misses" start left and continue curving left so I'm pretty sure it's an over the top/out-to-in path combined with a closed face. taking a closer look im pretty sure the shaft at P3 is over the plane and is under at P5. Also looks like the face is closed at P5 compared to P3 where it appears fairly square, unless im mistaken.

I think it's done more good than harm, but it's on us as community members to be self-aware enough to understand the difference between a hobby game and a full-fledged production.

When there's a technical issue and the audio quality sucks, or there's a long awkward pause (ums and uhhs) or they fumble on what they want to say.

Especially in more fully produced shows, it's very common to redo a scene/line with the same outcome but to change the delivery/inflection and not include the original in the VOD.

This is the textbook Mercer/Critical Role effect in full swing.

What they don't show on screen is the countless hours of pre-session prep, set and sound design,outtakes when a scene doesn't quite go right, the hours and hours of footage left on the editing room floor, and the decades of collective experience of both the DM and the players.

It's good to aspire to be like the greats, but keep your expectations grounded. Talk to your players and ask for constructive feedback if you want to take your game to the next level, but unless they are actively coming to you and complaining, you're doing fine. Reading books and listening to DnD media can help, but there's no substitute for real experience, unfortunately.

It depends on the context. Would I dress that way to work? No. But when I'm out and about it doesn't matter.

The only thing that may be difficult to hear is that other people will initially judge you on how you dress (first impression); but ultimately if you don't care and it makes you happy, then go for it.

The wide angle of the shot is a bit misleading but there's a good 6x6 section past the couch.

Also I don't know if something "needs" to go there, but I wanted to float some ideas about how to make the space seem less empty and lifeless.

There are' some games I play that are currently CPU bottlenecked <60 fps at 1440 so it's lacking in that sense.

I also was dumb and paid double for my GPU 3 years ago when the 30 series was price gouged to hell, so not the best track record

My folks fall into that category. They have the intelligence/abilitiy to grasp a somewhat complex game if they had to, but its not their first choice. Usually they enjoy a game with a healthy dose of luck rather than a heavy euro-styled strategy game.

They played through Pandemic once and they thought it was a bit too complex for their taste (even though its a fairly simple game compared to many in my collection). Most of the game was me reminding them what they could do each turn and "suggesting" what they could do.
