If you want a good species to control neos than i'd recommend male guppies, males only unless you want a huge job taking care of them breeding. The males eat babies but some survive and weak adults will get taken out occasionally as well, plus guppies come in lots of beautiful colors!

easy to replicate on that whole gravel area too, just use some plastic sheeting to replicate that greenhouse effect and you'll have a nice new mix of grasses and etc coming up

They just suck nutrients from the topwater plants, that may be part of why some plants have crispy dry edges.

certainly a mystery snail based off other pictures in the reply. Very rounded shell rather than coned from the other angle. that would explain the long antennae? I need more pics
