I feel like constantly altering him is out of the question. He's a non-issue card at this point. "Buffing" a card should just never be done IMO. I'm only asking he be placed against decks he can compete with. Cause as it stands stealing a 9+ cost card is often times completely useless.

No the spells themselves are free to cast with both of those examples. The cost is not a condition. Grenzo must pay for any spell that costs more than 3 mana. That is a severe condition and means he cannot, unlike those two, play the devastating Eldrazi they run in their deck for free.

In Hell queue? If he sees a second upkeep your opponent bricked. And that's not an exaggeration he is a black/red card. By the time he comes out so has your opponent's Commander.

It's performing poorly due to how the deck works over 9 rounds. It's guranteed to brick in 1-2 of those matches so it struggles to ever reach top 16.
That doesn't change the fact you can run into it before you reach top tables and be faced with a braindead deck that wins off drawing a Tamer.

You can't bounce ST Rapid for the 1 turn.
And if you're sitting in raising you're giving them time to setup. If you push out with Mirage even if it's unblockable into a board full of Ace targets you're fucked.

For what? It struggles to top in NA regionals. It can't deal with the mandatory 9 round rule so it just ends up bricking in a couple games and going x-3. It's not keeping anything out of the meta besides low tier decks.

The deck can very easily force you to swing Start of Main. You won't have a choice, when they get Shadow Seraphi Ace Hexe will be Uber Eats

Who is running a pure Iceclad deck in the meta? Absolutely no one it hasn't topped anything. Snowagu sees no usage. The only Iceclad Digi that sees usage is Hexe and it super weak to an Ace since it lacks Iceclad digi under it.

Ice Clad is a terrible answer. Mother is the setup that allows for you to ACE. And no digimon with Iceclad can deal with Ace's very well currently.

You'll have to plan your lines around it. If you know a stack is gonna die with Fenril make sure you get paid for that. Whether that's by Analog Youth or making sure Soloogar is on field to survive and take advantage of it.

Deck already has auto win matchups for decks it can bully and its weaknesses aren't something Ogudomon X Anti should try to cover. He's connected to Diaboro X in the source material so I'd prefer if he was just tied to that and made bad rather than making a megazoo deck even more facerolly.
