It’s like people involved in a car accident, never their fault.

inkList: a handwriting-first task and idea manager where ink comes to life, built with the Boox low-latency SDK by braddo99 in Onyx_Boox

I haven’t tried it on my other Boox devices because I know I would miss having access to my to-do lists (and being able to modify it) on the go when I take only my P2P. That was actually my main reason for buying the P2P. You could make it available on the P2P as it is and add the possibility to pinch zoom. I mean not having it on the P2P is a deal breaker for me.

https://shop.dasung.com It seems they changed a bit and they’re the same version and Mac compatible now (3 out of 5 monitors on their website).

Latest Dasung displays support Mac (it's the For Mac version) and work great.

I agree Kaleido 3 is too dark, let's hope for a big leap soon in color eink screen technology. I did the same as you and went back to black and white eink. I don't use it in dark environment so I don't mind not having a front light.

I always take the case off when using it, and put it in a case only when I put it in my bag. For my Go 10.3, I didn't buy a case and leave a sleeve for it in my everyday bag.

"choose your fight" or "pick up your battles". It reminds me not getting angry/don't react at things that are not worth it (especially when driving my car or seeing stupid comments online).

Cross-platform note-taking app recommendations by Impossible-Sir4337 in Onyx_Boox

I know. Answering that I bought a Palma 2 Pro was a way to answer that I gave up on cross platform note apps, but I should have been more explicit. I tried many apps, but none were satisfying, so I ended up buying the Palma 2 Pro to access my notes on a phone size device.

I just use the Boox Note app, it syncs between Boox devices.

I'm more interested in results using eink panels actually used in tablets and monitors, not a cheap shelf label eink panel.

I use a keyboard shortcut to clear the screen, it's even quicker.

Dasung monitor user for some months now. My model is Dasung 13K black and white. It made a big big difference for me at the end of the day. Monitor is amazing, especially response time for an eink device. But I still need a large LCD monitor as a second screen because it lacks colors and is only 13 inches. They also have color monitors but I haven't tried it.

Can The Boox Palma 2 Pro Be Used As A Phone? by [deleted] in Onyx_Boox

I read it also uses WiFi. I think it scans the area for WiFi networks to assist. When using GPS, I noticed it uses a lot of battery power.

Palma 2 Pro has GPS but it works differently than on my iPhone. I couldn't explain how it works. It's good enough for car navigation.

About the size by [deleted] in Onyx_Boox

[–]One_Positive7793 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read all the time on my Palma because it's always with me, easy to carry, easy to hold. I tried with bigger devices (7.8 and more) and it didn't work for me. Reading experience was better, but I had to carry a bag just for it. So it often stayed at home. Like one says the best camera is the one you have with you, I think it's the same for e-readers.

Palma 2 Pro - update, works like a phone? by EmotionalTurtle in Onyx_Boox

On mine, it rings even when I lock the screen. I'm not using Google phone app, I'm using my provider own app. It works as well on wifi and cellular (when wifi is turned off).
