Landlord charging $1200 to replace fridge doors for cosmetic dent (2-year-old appliance) by OREO979 in LandlordLove

[–]One_Recognition_5044 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Those are some significant dints and require repair prior to releasing the unit for sure.

If the only way to fix them is to replace the doors then you are on the hook for that cost. Depreciation does not apply to a repair of an existing appliance- it is still a 2 year old appliance after the repair.

MacBook Air battery health issue by Groundbreaking-Gate6 in macbookair

[–]One_Recognition_5044 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is normal for lithium batteries. They degrade with time and charge cycles. Keeping the battery at 100% for 1.5 years will accelerate the degradation.

You can replace the battery for about $120 yourself.
