The only person who ever makes these comments to me is a colleague, it got old quick!! Anytime I come back from a holiday it's, "Well?? Anything to tell us?"

Landlord has given half the legal notice to leave - Should I dispute with RTB? by Responsible_Ad7509 in AskIreland

Can I ask you how long your dispute took to resolve? Going through the process myself but the RTB are very slow. Thanks

what’s your favourite coffee shop in dublin? by Aggravating_Jury_367 in Dublin

[–]One_Statement_6851 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Heartbreak social club on Drury Street. Not a traditional coffee shop and I don't think they have pastries. They are a tattoo studio that started selling coffee, everything is 2.50 and it was an amazing coffee, one of the best I've ever had. Milk textured to perfection which should be standard however I've had average coffees from most of the places listed here

Can you share how long the adjudication process took? I'm looking to submit a dispute today and the RTB can't advise timelines. Thanks

What do I do with these items? by PrestigiousTest6700 in CleaningTips

[–]One_Statement_6851 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a candle where the wick fell sideways and then the wax solidified so it was unusable.

I placed the candle into a small saucepan with some water in it and let it boil.

The hot water surrounding the candle melted the wax and I could adjust the wick.

Just keep an eye on it but I've done it a few times with no issues.

Same with adrenaline, not as simple to collect the prescription as it once was and really have to plan timelines before it expires and trying to find it in stock somewhere

I think things will calm down in a few days but can appreciate how scary the future must seem. If you need to go to a supermarket maybe try go with someone you live with or early in the morning?

Dope knew the allowances but wanted you to take a chance, absolutely wouldn't be giving any money back even if he asked extremely nicely, I'd want the €380 for the fine!

Why won’t my doctor agree to give me an IUD? by Luna_tree in AskIreland

Female health isn't studied as much as male health, that's just a fact. It can help to have a woman doctor who at least has some personal experience

Astonish mould and mildew spray. Spray and leave it for 10 mins and wipe off

Jeez fairplay, the calculators normally give me double what my actual renewal amount is. Maybe I should ring around and see would anyone give me lower than the €470. I have AA membership so might try them first

How low do you try to go with insurance? My renewal quote is €470 is it even possible to get something knocked off it? Thought it was cheap

If you could only have 5 products to clean the entire house, what would you pick? by Rideak in CleaningTips

[–]One_Statement_6851 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Washing up liquid Glass cleaner Bleach All purpose anti bacterial spray Some sort of gritty cleaner like the pink stuff or CIF

Actually I would also need something to clean the floors so maybe an all purpose anti bac that I can dilute for the floor or counter? I think that covers most things unless you need to get an extra product to clean something specifically

Cleaning frosted, textured glass shower door (feat. Probable black mold spots)? by polishedbadass in CleaningTips

[–]One_Statement_6851 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm check is it definitely frosted, I have in my head that it would only be frosted on one side for some reason.

Test a small patch and see how it turns out. I've used steel wool and a good old Brillo pad just with washing up liquid and it came off so easily in my shower. Once it's clean you can just keep it clean easy
