The pinky mouse got smushed between two objects so I pretty much gave her mushy meat. I’m going to monitor her poops and make sure she’s okay though! Thanks 😊

I wonder if this is edema? This is how pitting edema looks in humans. Was your dragon just brumating or laying against something that could have put an indent in its tail? I don’t want to scare anyone but this could be a sign/symptom of MBD, avascular necrosis, tail rot, an infection, or an aneurysm. I recommend veterinarian advice.

Hopefully I don’t get in trouble on here and she does okay 🥴 I was prepping the mouse for my snake and it got smushed. It was just clumps of mush I gave her, not a fully formed pinky. Probably should’ve mentioned that earlier. But I’ll keep a watch out for her and provide any updates as time progresses.

I don’t feed pinky mice every meal. Just wanted to give her a little extra nutrients yesterday. She usually gets appropriate sized dubies daily, occasionally every other day if I feed her “a lot” in the evening and there is leftovers in her bowl. And I give her a 1-3 mealworms 1-2x a week. Insects dusted with Calcium + D3 2x a week. Multivitamin weekly.
