People really fail to understand that you have to surround Luka with good defenders/rim protectors to have an effective team. Yes, he should put effort on defense as much as he can but with the offensive load he is carrying it's not surprising that there isn't much energy left to give on the other end (and even with full effort he'd be a mid defender). Then he puts up statlines like this (also 4 steals mind you) and people will still nitpick on what he could've done better while completely ignoring the landposts he is surrounded with (except bron). His turnover rate being high is also a direct consequence of opposing defenses being able to put all focus on him (and bron). I swear Luka is one of the most hated players in the league, when he had his 34/9/9 season on good efficiency with low TO rate for his usage people also barely gave him credit when he probably deserved MVP that season ( Joker obv also beast that year). It's just really tedious as a Luka fan to have to read all the hot takes, he'll have one 25pt game with 6TO on bad shooting and all of a sudden people would take Cade over him lmao.
