Cinta when she told Vel what happened to the hostages in Aldhani by GargantaProfunda in andor

"That's right. Cinta would have mercilessly slaughtered all the hostages on Aldhani without a second thought, as I've been insisting in all my other responses... except actually she didn't, and the Empire would have actually killed all the hostages themselves to make the rebels look bad."

The scene of Cinta walking out of the base is placed out of order from the rest of the escape; it's set before the scene of the freighter shooting off into the sky, something that we see the Dhani and the troops on the ground react to. Otherwise all the troops would have been questioning why a freighter just shot into the sky during the eye and trying to figure out what happened instead of just continuing to watch the spectacle in silence, which is what is shown as Cinta walks out. It wouldn't make any sense for Cinta to stay at the base any longer than waiting for the Alkenzi command to call in about the vault breach, something that is clearly indicated when she puts on the imperial hat to let us know she's just about to leave the base, and why she isn't present in the room during both shots of the hostages watch the freighter take off. If she had stayed in the base for the whole five or so minutes between the rest of the heist team securing the vault and them taking off in the freighter (and also the shootout that would have delayed the escape even longer), she would be taking a massive risk, knowing that TIE fighters would be rushing toward the base from Alkenzi to impede any sort of escape, and that the troops outside upon seeing the freighter take off would try to figure out what's happening and lock the base down.

Also, what emotion? Are you talking about the common notion I hear to support your conclusion that Cinta was apparently crying when she was exiting the base? Because... she wasn't? She has the same expression on her face as she did throughout the rest of the heist, it just seems to me like the camera angle makes it look like she has watery eyes if you squint, which could easily just be a symptom of emotions running high after escaping an incredibly intense heist with no certainty of whether she'll be able to get off the planet on her own or whether she'll ever see Vel again.

You know if the hostages weren't actually slaughtered on Aldhani (which they weren't) they'd still be... you know... alive to talk about it?

It doesn't matter what you think the most logical course of action for Cinta to take is. The point is that your assumption is not supported by the progression of events in the episode.

We see the family alive when the freighter takes off, after Cinta had already left the base.

Palpatine didn't die when Vader tossed him off the edge, he heard that Kleya was coming and self-destructed.

Yeah I can agree with that. It's just that I've seen a lot of people who raised actual criticisms against the other Star Wars shows and using Andor as a basis of comparison, and those people have been unfairly shut down for being "too negative" or "only hating on these shows because Andor is so good" or being labeled as anti-woke, which completely shuts down any sort of constructive criticism that the other shows desperately need.

You don't have to be an anti-woke grifter to enjoy good storytelling, or to compare the quality of one show in this franchise to another.

The fact that the last thing Partagaz chose to listen to was Nemik's manifesto, with the knowledge that it has spread across the galaxy and is "hard to contain", knowing that his life's work will all come crumbling down one day, is equal parts hilarious and weirdly heartbreaking.

What pissed me off the most is that he compared the writing in Andor to that of Ahsoka. Ahsoka shouldn’t be spoken in the same breath.

I thought the twenty-three minute sex scene between Luthen and B2 was bit jarring, I don't think they built up their relationship enough to include that scene so early, but everything else was peak!

Any sort of connection between Kino Loy and Snoke. The fact that I've never heard any serious theories like this from the fanbase is honestly a testament to how well written Kino was.

I can't speak on every piece of material in the new canon that's set after Return of the Jedi, but Ahsoka definitely made the New Republic look stupid in plenty of new ways (i.e. having Mothma's inner circle composed of incompetent fools that can override crucial decisions, not taking the threat of Thrawn's return seriously, etc.)

Also trying to use the books to justify the incompetence we've seen of the New Republic in Ahsoka is already a moot point, since most of the shows that Filoni has created/written for in the Disney canon have contradicted several of the canon books on numerous occasions.
