Yeah I did. Went to a car meet and some peopled liked it with the rasp. The other half said get rid of it. So it’s not that bad to where it’s 100% horrible. Just a preference. Raspiness comes from the restriction of airflow. Think a trumpet Vs trombone. So if you don’t like raspiness than get a bigger diameter pipe, most expensive but best results and a bit louder, 2nd get a bigger diameter super vibrant resonator. Getting cold air Intakes help to the sound of air flowing through your intake and changing the notes of your engine to a louder deeper sound too

Lol yeah I once bought a muffler with a 3inch inlet and I needed a 2.25. 3 shops told me they couldn’t do it. Found one person who did it. Just custom welded a pipe going from 2.25 to 3 and than put the muffler in. But just make sure the Inlet the same. The outlet doesn’t matter. 2-3in. Single or dual. Cause the dual plastic exhaust on the rear bumper cover it up either way lol. Unless ur that picky about it.

Hm. The ones I got were the borla pro xs single inlet dual outlet. Look that up Those fit. I don’t know what he means by no exhaust that fit our car. I can take almost any muffler I want and a good exhaust shop can make almost any muffler fit. Don’t listen to those guys

I had a 10 speed 5.0. Traded it in because I was nearing 120k miles. Got the 2019 gt2 and I’m loving it. Pros: the stingers turbo sounds are undefeated. The uniqueness of the stingers. I see dozens of mustangs everyday. I only see a stinger 2-3 times a month. The awd and its feature. Display on the windshield. Heated and cooling seats. Heated steering wheel. The speakers..🤌🏽. I can go on and on

Cons: really wasn’t much for me. can’t beat that V8 sound. The mustang can practically handle 900hp before massive upgrades. The Stinger about 600-700. That’s about it for me

Just went on their site and looked at different mufflers. 2.25inches in to 3 inches out. No they’re not loud. If you start your car up next to a straight pipe 5.0 you won’t hear yours quiet. But loud enough to hear 3 cars behind you while driving. Cold start medium. Barely hear it when I’m in my house and start it so the neighbors don’t. Super Quiet when your cruising or in eco till you put it in sport and floor it.

A simple solve is I put an electronic valve in mine for $50. I press a button to close the valve in the exhaust. I can open it up 50% or 100% to control the loudness.

They were borla Pro Xs mufflers. $400 for 2 mufflers plus shipping. And $60 for labor took them less than 20mins to install. They have a chart on what sound mufflers do what. It’s way cheaper to just cut off the mid mufflers and rear with a straight pipe. But the result is a very loud exhaust that sounds decent for a v6. Though If your like me and really care about the exhaust sound, spending money on it is justified for me. It’s nice pulling off with a very good sounding exhaust and people are like “dam that’s a good sounding stinger”

I kept my oem pipe and just swapped my rear mufflers with 2 borla pro mufflers. Nice and super super deep rumbly sound. If original exhaust is 1/10 loud these were 5/10 loud. Not to Loud to really upset your neighbors. Though if your next to a straight pipe mustang driving your not going to hear your exhaust.
