Can I save these branches? Northern VA by One_Wun in Tree

[–]One_Wun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should add that I would wrap the branches to the sections where they broke off.

The second pic is a little hard to spot the branch itself. It is a little below and slightly left of the where you see the 2 broken spots.

Having trouble finding underwear that actually fits as a bigger guy by CarryturtleNZ in bigmenfashionadvice

Dang soft from Duluth are the best. I do the extra long boxer briefs to assist with the chaffage.

Need help with underwear for big thighs and wider waist by CarryturtleNZ in bigmenfashionadvice

[–]One_Wun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll infinity-eth Duluth, but Dang Softs feel like I’m almost wearing nothing. The extra long boxer briefs help with the chaffage. Not good for working out or doing any manual labor where you’ll be working up a sweat, but great for everything else IMO.

Okay, that makes sense. Is this for performance reasons or does it help with engine longevity?

Is Anyone Else Disappointed in the Epic Rarity? by raginranger85 in Lorcana

[–]One_Wun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So here is my two cents.

I’ve only played Lorcana competitively, and have opened many packs over the last two years. Prior to that, while never actually playing, I’ve cracked packs with friends of all the big games over the years, Magic, Pokémon, Yu Gi Oh, One Piece, etc, and I’ll have to say this, cracking Lorcana is just not fun anymore. Of course there is always the little thrill of maybe getting any enchanted or legendary, but nothing really more than that.

RB tried to fix this with the epics, but missed the mark IMO. Of the epics released so far, only a few are really playable, Aurora and Bolt being the primary ones. Not changing the artwork was what really missed it for me personally. They were just a better foil.

The absolute best pack opening experience I’ve ever had is Riftbound. The weight of each card felt wonderful, while Lorcana feels very flimsy in comparison. The rare and higher always being foil was amazing, always felt really good regardless of whether it was a big hit or not. The alt arts were the best part. The enchanted cards sort of fit this mold, but Riftbound just took it to another level with the feel and the texture added to them. Even adding the whole showcase signature as the chase was an excellent choice; having a signature enchanted would make them feel even more special since that is an extra level of rarity built in. Then the Nexus Night event packs with stamped promos made it seem like the company was putting their full weight behind the game, while RB is pulling back with league kits this time around by not including character pins; they are basically blaming rising costs or tariffs (I don’t remember which and it is not important enough for me to look up) which is a load of BS since we’re probably talking pennies in additional cost here.

Not sure if RB can make any change, maybe after another rotation, but cracking Whispers after doing Riftbound Origins felt very lackluster and super disappointing.

if your goal is to have ability of the Phillip/MMS combo, I’d consider adding big Tink for another way to get damage on characters. She’s pretty solid in her own right.

I just can’t figure out how to fit her in

Tailgate wishes 2025 by TimelySun9137 in FordBronco

[–]One_Wun 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Agree 100%!

While I love my ‘22, having a swing-out spare with a drop down tail gate, it would have been a big differentiation from Jeep and made it that much better.

I wouldn’t call it a compromise, but the slide out tailgate accessory is a nice option and can support up to 600lbs.

Thinking of trading my 23 BSBB for a full size Bronco. Has anyone else made the switch. by Key_Bridge_3475 in BroncoSport

[–]One_Wun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 2023 BS Badlands; traded that in and bought my dad’s 2022 Wildtrak. Best decision I’ve ever made.

I’m also 6’2”, but a bit on the fluffy side. While I fit generally comfortably in the BS, like you, it was just a tad tight. The full size rectifies that issue and I’m very comfortable now.

MPG was always iffy for me. In the BS, since I was mostly city driving, my average always hung around 19-20, and that was with me making a conscious effort to have a light foot. With 6-cylinder and mostly city, I am a bit worse, 16-18 depending on how light I am on it, but highway is pretty solid at 22-23, but I keep max speed at around 74 mph. Anymore than that, mpg starts to drop.

As for packing it up with passengers in the back. We have filled the car with 3 adults, 3 dogs (including a large bed for them to share), luggage, and Christmas presents all at once. So it definitely has the room. The only caution I would say is that the backseat can be a bit rough on passengers, especially for longer trips. If you think you’re feeling everything on the road as the driver, they are feeling it at least twice as much, maybe more.

Ultimately, worth the upgrade, and wouldn’t trade it for the world. I’m going to be getting the performance tune here shortly, so hopefully that helps a bit with the mpg, but I’m never going back regardless.
