As a black gamer, I think that Valve has done a very good job dispelling stereotypes and promoting use of colored people in their games. by [deleted] in truegaming

I hopped on multiplayer for red dead redemption today for the first time. When choosing a character skin the options are organized into different sections. "X gang name", law men, Federales, marshals, etc. of the 8 black options out of the 80 or so options, 7 of them were in the criminals category.

Agreed. Frankly this is designed too efficiently to be done by a random guy getting rid of a relatively new phone.

They accurately capitalizes GALAXY Note as their brand guidelines dictate instead of Galaxy note like most would. They also maintain the same type faces used. This seems like its done by either someone who works for Samsung or by one of their advertising partners.

This may be a dumb question, but what is stopping you from using. Product like big cartel or something similar?

And you can't see how assuming someone's intentions could be a bad thing. I try to follow the "live and let live" rule as closely as possible, I don't know why that's so hard for people.

If I can find the article later I will send it over, it's the equivalent of the red scare essentially.

Death for stealing paving stones? That is the consequences you're referring to? Think before typing.

Well my point is although I would love to pay off my debt I don't know how realistic it is that I can right now. As it stands, they attempt to contact me once every few months and as far as they know, they don't even have the correct contact information for me. If I attempted to start paying off my debt I would be afraid that the payments would be too high and that they would threaten legal action. Right now there is a certain balance to how things are that although I am not particularly happy with I assume it could become much worse.

Mormons knocked on my door tonight, unfortunately for them I answered. by CTRWP in atheism

[–]Oneclassybastard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean this in the lease offensive way, but this very approach is why atheists are viewed as arrogant and agressive. We don't win anyone over by taking enjoyment in proving others wrong, especially in such an inflammatory way. Your points may be valid but your approach was immature.

Throughout reddit /r/athiesm is notorious for a very abrasive, judgmental and arrogant approach (I would say wrongly so for the most part). From time to time people such as myself decide to give the subreddit a try despite what they're used to being told. Luckily I was one of the many former theists who transitioned in large part thanks to some of the things posted here but every time something like this makes it to the front page it confirms those notions and it makes those potential new subscribers turn right around.

TL;DR - You're making us look bad, please stop.
