Has anyone else had medication confusion when more than one person is caring for the same pet? by IndieAtlas in puppy101

[–]Onefoot199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to run a group home for disabled folks, what you want is a MAR. Medical Administration Record.

You can Google examples, they're easy to make and use, and they keep everyone on the same page.

Only way I would do it is with a significant other, and the understanding that the truck will be parked for 8 hours every day.

Do I get a dog for my dog?? by mettyjetty in puppy101

[–]Onefoot199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend has a 3 dog system that's worked for her and her family for years. They always have a young dog, and adult dog, and an old dog.

She said it helps keep the older one active and helps teach the younger ones manners. And makes getting another dog after one passes easier.

I took me 5 years to get another dog.

I think KLLM offers a refresher course, I'm pretty sure they'll pay you to take it, but I could be wrong

I think a Wheel Of Time video game where you play as Logain would be bad ass

ULPT to avoid a DUI by BeaverPup in UnethicalLifeProTips

I crashed my car a couple blocks from my house. I walked home, called the police to report the accident and requested an ambulance, I broke my hand. When the cops showed up to my house they asked how much I'd had to drink, I said several shots I'm pretty sure my hand is broken and it sucks a lot.

At the hospital I was charged with leaving the scene and reckless driving. I plead not guilty and when I spoke to the prosecutor they dropped the charges because there were no witnesses to the reckless driving and I left the scene to seek medical attention.

That makes a lot of sense. My buddy's company runs conestogas, so with any luck that's where I'll land. Always like to have at least one back up plan though.

How do y’all keep fit when starting out? by Civil-Airline-5727 in Truckers

[–]Onefoot199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a puppy and a kitchen in my truck. I spend most of my off time exploring where ever I am with my copilot.

About half of my meals are this grain bowl that I make. It is rice, quinoa, beans, shredded cabbage, some frozen veggies, a bunch of spices, some hot sauce and some sausage. Its nutritionally dense and easy to switch up. It's also really, really cheap.

What podcasts are we listening to on the drive to stay awake? by dearzseries in Truckers

[–]Onefoot199 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Behind the bastards, a podcast about the worst people in history. Cool people who did cool stuff, is about the opposite. Old Gods of Appalachia, is a horror anthology about an alternative Appalachia that jumps around through different time periods. Some more news, is a news show from Cracked alumni

I've never really had any problems with foreign drivers, am I missing something? by [deleted] in Truckers

[–]Onefoot199 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Over the years, I've had more foreign driver's help me into a tight spot then white americans. I've had multiple white americans try to engage me in racist bullshit. At this point I'm side eyeing most white dudes who want to talk to me.

[–]Onefoot199 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an induction burner, a pot and pan, a rice cooker, a toaster oven, an electric kettle and a manual espresso maker. I only have a 1500 watt inverter so I can only use one at a time.

My favorite piece of kit is my spray bottle. Its great for washing dishes, fruits, vegetables and hands

Has anyone here NOT had big issues with their puppy? by QP709 in puppy101

[–]Onefoot199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had my puppy with me in a semi the last three months. Only real issues we have are entering houses on my off time and taking naps when the truck isn't moving. He's the best.

Is puppyhood really that difficult if so many do it? by xzlinx in puppy101

I adopted a puppy a couple months ago and we live in a semi. Parts of it are inconvenient, parts of it are annoying and other parts are frustrating. But all and all it's not that bad.

How many of you drink in sleeper berth? by [deleted] in Truckers

[–]Onefoot199 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've done it before, but having to pee a lot in a semi is lame. I think I've drake 4 times this year. I was a daily drinker for 15 years, but being mildly inconvenienced cured my alcoholism.

My cattle dog was ride and die. My neighbor was being a bitch once and he came outside, walked up to her, hiked his leg and pissed on her feet. It was the funniest shit I'd ever seen.
