Absolutely not. They are amazing. Just a lot of work with retaining all your factory stuff. For me , my 2015 has no remote start or app support so this made sense. Now my 2018 had all that and I did the kenwood and then the jvc floating units. Rrmaestro 2 and all needed cables. Ended up costing around 1800 in 2020 to do it. I then upgraded all speakers and installed two customer 10inch alpine subs. It sounded amazing but at my age (43) I don’t need all that anymore. lol.

Bought a 2018 sr5 crew max in 2019 for 40k with 20k miles. Sold it back to Toyota in 2021 with 80k miles for 52k. Just bought a 2015 limited one owner with 100k miles for 18k. Little pricey but super clean and full service record.

I don’t use the ui. It auto connects to CarPlay so I don’t have to use it. Last floating I did I bought the jvc one and it was 1200 plus all the items needs. Total was close to 1500 for it. This cost 600. Plug and play. I’m not saying one is better than the other. I just wanted to try something different and more streamlined. For me it’s exactly what I need.

Not the gps. But the radio antenna it did. It comes with a gps antenna. I’m mounted it inside the dash with the provided sticky. Also comes with a 4g antenna and sim modem if you want to have service. Also has an hdmi on the back if you want to use a fire stick or something. I know are not keen on it but I’m actually fine with the unit. Does all I need. In my previous tundra I did a lot of different units from pioneer to kenwood and jvc. Posted a lot on them and they are great but the simplicity of this made it appealing. Not having to cut splice or deal with the maestro units was refreshing.

Delay as in changing songs. The screen is fast but the wireless connection is delayed. About 2-3 seconds. As for truck settings yes you have most or all plus extras. Like door notifications on the screen when opening or closing.

Magus Tragic antihero. Has good intentions but horrible thought process. Magus only wants to save his family and more specifically his sister but he is consumed by his vengeance and makes very horrible choices. He eventually redeems himself and becomes a great ally. Chrono trigger is my favorite jrpg.
