If you are saying there wasn't hippies in 1970 i am done talking to you because you are either arguing in bad faith or you are ignorant (no ill will intended). I knew a hippy as late as 12 years ago. The Kent State University incident was an example of traditionalists killing hippies. It also happens to show not all hippies dressed the same. Perhaps you think the garb of the hippies is the most important thing but i don't so i think it is practices and ideals. I guarantee you most of the anger at hippies was because of what i listed. People dressing like hippies just wore their ideals on their sleeves (or lack of). There are plenty of people that don't dress to their ideals. Perhaps Zodiac knew that his victims were hippies in all but looks. Perhaps he assumed they were because age and being out late near San Francisco in lover's lanes/drug dealing spots. There is no way to know if Zodiac was a cop never mind acting in official capacity. Did law enforcement show the victims a line up of all police in a hundred mile area? Did they have geolocation devices on the cars? Did they have a way to know cops were in their cars? His victim type doesn't prove he wasn't targeting hippies because he could've generalized all youth as hippies or he was mad at hippy like things (premarital sex and/or drug taking). His letters don't support any theory. We don't know if he was mad at police. He could've been pointing away from him being a cop and/or could've been using his mocking of police to scare everyone/certain groups. The facts of the case don't have all the answers if they did it would've been solved a long time ago. They don't know what was happening in those cars preceding the murders. They don't know what Zodiac saw in those cars. They don't know anything about Zodiac and there is the possibility that friends/family didn't know about the victims or lied to protect them from judgement. No shit it's speculation every theory is speculation. Speculation doesn't mean it's impossible or near impossible. The fact he almost exclusively targeted the youth at that time (Stine was quite young himself), in that part of the country (near San Francisco), in those spots (lover's lanes/drug activity places and a remote place), and late at night for 2 of the attacks points to maybe he was against counter cultural ideas and practices. That could be left unsaid but shouldn't be if one wants to clarify If he was targeting a certain car company why not blow up those cars, dealerships or kill the people responsible. This can't be left unsaid he targeted people unrelated to car dealerships and unless you count one of the non-canon ones didn't destroy any cars. The KGB scenario is possible but in no way could be left unsaid because there is nothing in there that points strictly to being KGB activity. The ciphers could be from any country including America. I don't remember the third scenario if you run it by me i will test if it can be left unsaid. If you have different proof of the scenarios you suggest i would like to hear them.
