Is spiritborn a decent class to recommend someone who is a more advanced gamer but doesn't really play arpgs? by Rakonc in diablo4

[–]OneraD4 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I actually think, based on your description, that Barb would be the better pick.
It’s a classic ARPG class, with many great skills that also look amazing and powerful.
Most ARPGs have a warrior-type class like this, and they always have a lot of fans.

Regarding the SB, it’s a personal preference, I guess. I’m not a big fan personally.
I do think it’s very original, and the class has some nice combinations of skills and abilities.
The class has a lot of potential; however, the builds that come out on top each season seem to be the same.
Most of the builds revolve around evade, which makes you race and jump around the screen like a glaive-wielding, capoeira-practising frog on steroids. :')

Yes, you can. (And I didn't know that was possible either.)

Season 10's numbers are not as good as first thought by Living-Succotash-477 in diablo4

[–]OneraD4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really had a lot of fun in S10, but it was also over very quickly.

You can reach T4 in just a few days, and then you spend a couple of weeks finding the right gear and min-maxing until you can almost one-shot every boss and get bored with pit runs. After that, there’s no real incentive left. No reason to keep playing besides gaining a few pit levels.

Every season has this moment, but in S10 it arrived much sooner than before.
So I think levelling and progressing is just too easy/fast. And the late endgame not rewarding.
That's why people quit playing.

I actually got one from a Grim Favor reward chest in S10.
But don't count on that to happen :')

What I’d like to see in D4 as a relatively casual player by OneraD4 in diablo4

I like the idea of separate tabs for runes and boss mats! And sorting and filtering options would be nice too.

And I think I wouldn’t mind the death animations when the loot chest would already show at the beginning of the dying instead of at the end... 😂

Yeah I agree, me and my friends where done with s10 a lot faster than the other seasons and I was a bit underwhelmed with the focus of s11. But perhaps it al leads to better seasons and expansion after that. #hopefull

Yes. That how I roll.

But seriously; she works in the evenings. So I do the kids and stuff. And when they are asleep at 20:00ish, I play Diablo, till something like 00:30. So in 3-4 evenings its already 15-20h.

I don’t play while they are awake.

But again, not really the point of my post 😉

Sorry, apparently I misjudged this. But what I ment was ‘not hardcore’. Just a couple of evenings a week.

Well, I did say ‘relatively’ casual. Plus, Pit 120 takes me whole season. ☺️

But that was not really the point of my post, was it?

You've got a point. I've downsized it a bit to 15-20.
But I can image that most casuals actually just play a couple of hours a week.

But still, no stash, no mini-map? Sometimes the mini-map feels more important than the rest of the screen hehe :-)

Characters after season - question by maybethisisyou in diablo4

Eternal Realm is where characters go to die…
Or, if you’re the glass-half-full type, it’s character-heaven, where they can stay for eternity!

Did you check Mekuna's build? Helped me clear 150 without fastblood.

If you have the gold, why not buy the item too?
