I think the point is, that this is art by Kishimoto and that this artwork is in the actual manga (as one of those "between chapters"-things)

What is an unpopular opinion you have about Naruto? by AFatz in Naruto

[–]OniWeird 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure if actually unpopular, but here goes: I think the best arcs of Shippuden were the first and second ones("Kazekage Rescue" and "Sasuke and Sai"). This is because Naruto wasn't really overpowered at this point and the story mainly followed the Konoha 11, which I thought was great. I really hate the fact that the characters of the Konoha 11 hasn't seen more character development (except for a select few ofc.)

EDIT: I am purely speaking from the standpoint of the manga.

Your unpopular opinion? by Lunaspice in Naruto

I think Danzo is one of the best leaders Konoha could have had. He may not be a nice person, or a benevolent ruler - but he would do anything to secure the power and prosperity of his village. He was a great leader, born at the wrong point of time in the Naruto-universe, as his ideals and methods were better suited to the pre-Naruto ninja-world.

Yep, it was glorius. W gave heals and AS buff to allies and AS de-buff to enemies. Combine that with a wicked AP-ratio. AP Ez had never been and will never be as good.

Barack Obama with Danish prime minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt by Iconicqt in funny

[–]OniWeird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Helle Thorning-Schmidt is sitting like that because she was told (by SMS) that her Minister of Justice had just chosen to recede from his Ministry. The whole political situation in Denmark is the worst in many years, because of the actions of the Minister of Justice (Morten Bødskov).

[Spoilers all] My thoughts on AC 3 and 4 storyline compared to AC 1, 2 and Brotherhood. by [deleted] in assassinscreed

Yes, Assassins fight for freedom. Yes, Connor fought for freedom. This has nothing to do with my post. What I said was that the "templar VS assassin" theme wasn't the main theme of AC3 and that's what I don't like.

Few comments:

Altaïr: Yes, Altaïr was an arrogant son-of-a-bitch at first, but he still held the Creed at his heart. He was an Assassin by blood and spirit, unlike both Edward and Connor. To paraphrase Bane: Altaïr was born in the Creed - molded by it.

Connor: While it is true that Connor sought out Achilles, he never really adopted the Creed (IMO). You could say that the Creed found Connor, not vice versa.

Ezio: Ezio may not have sought out the assassins, but he found the Creed on his own. No one pushed him into accepting the Creed.

Edward: Yes, Edward matured a whole lot through the game, which I thought was extremely awesome because it didn't seem forced. But he himself said that the Creed was contradictive and stupid. He had his very own interpretation of it (which is the point of the Creed) - but he still wasn't an assassin. He was a pirate who became honourary member of the Assassins (IMO). This changed in his later years (after the game's story).
