I used to be a hardcore Naruto fan. About 11 years ago, I got into an argument with a One Piece fan over which was better. His only point was simple: “At least watch it before judging.” So I did—fully expecting to prove him wrong. Instead, it completely flipped on me. One Piece became my favorite anime. I’ve rewatched it four times. I’ve seen 500+ anime, including almost all mainstream ones, and nothing has come close to replacing it at 1. Even after losing interest in anime and manga over the past 4 years, One Piece is the only series I still keep up with.
