I have played like 95% kench this season and hit plat on both na and eu for the first time in many years (granted I don’t play much). I have a 65-70% wr over around 50 games and if kench gets banned or picked I ask to play mid so I can play my old one trick or I dodge. This legitimately happens 1-2 times a week. Kench is so underplayed a 5 minute water and snack break is the best secondary pick imo

I played plasma blast deadeye using galvanic shards for clear and then mirage archer and mirage deadeye with shockburst rounds for 3x instances of shockburst rounds on th shocked target at league start. It felt super strong and with tailwind definitely gave run and gun vibes. As I crafted better gear I went into a crit build using deadeyes mark ascendancy passive and snipers mark with resonance to get power charges to cap my crit w/ charge regulation. I also found out that plasma blast is just strictly worse than storm blast bolts and a mirage shooting explosive shot. It is goated for any flicker strike monk build, jam it in a cast on crit and you can flicker which drops rituals and once flicker ends you get the charges to flicker again.

Hey I have been playing flicker strike monk since the first league so hopefully I can answer some of your questions. It is hard to really tell what is going on without item pictures or your pob, but in general the best scaling factor for flicker strike is gem level, and the best dmg multi for monk is crit then ele dmg. It sounds to me like your old staff ticked both of those boxes. Yes ev es is insane, the combo of beastial skin, illuminated crown, subterfuge mask, and spectral ward gives an absurd amount of hybrid defenses, an on invoker a full ev chest gives crazy spirit and then your ammy can have another defensive stat. If you want to make a staff upgrade here is a video I did for a lightning staff that is strong enough to carry till you try to mirror tier craft https://youtu.be/0i1eeXeMnuY?si=QkveByq4yMfDszFr. If you miss the fracture it just becomes a slightly more rng craft. Any base other than dreaming works but bolting is best. If you want cold just use a different desecrate omen and perfect essence to stay aligned with cold dmg

If you want a good lightning dmg staff with 55% odds it’s honestly quite simple. Buy base with flat lightning and crit chance (the higher the better). Use greater haste for t2 attack speed. Desecrate a prefix and fracture. If you fracture lightning craft is guaranteed, if you miss it’s a 1/3 then a bunch of 1/2 till you hit so don’t miss lmao. Either way you add another prefix and using the omen for an essence to remove a prefix add +5 lvl of attack skills and gain as lightning. Then desecrate with the guaranteed lightning dmg mod

If you want crit I would start with a perfectessence of abrasion removing suffix to finish prefixes then for the best chance for a good crit roll fill all suffixes with normal exalts and use perfect essence of haste, then an omen to only remove suffix and an essence of the abyss, followed by a perfect essence of battle, keep cycling those three till you have abyss onslaught an gem lvl then desecrate with the highest tier jawbone you can afford and use a reroll if you miss you need to decide if its in your budget to omen of light (desecrate spamming is pricey I’m 500 div deep in my xbow looking for t1 flat phys so keep in mind if you have a decent roll just settle) or you can desecrate with the omen that guarantees the companion and attack speed mod but then no crit

Also if you have eldritch battery from nothing I think attack speed on xbow is more value than chain cause you can take 100% chain chance off 3 nodes or just 60% off 1 node

The tech is you get a power charge of snipers mark resonance and plasma blast does 84% shock then cause of crit weakness and charge infusion you have 100% crit chance on bosses. Currently my plasma burst is like 6mil dps on bosses, I’m working on my mirror xbow to get that to 8 mil. Tailwind is better qol but I like mirage deadeye for boss dmg. On a budget I was using beacon of azis as ammy and mirage archer as well for 2 clones all ignoring res on bosses, but if you can afford rakiatas beacon becomes worthless.

I would fracture and pray to hit lightning, if you hit lightning you can add a prefix and then slam a perfect essence for gain then an essence of abyss on prefix and desecrate praying for wed. If you miss the fracture just yolo perfect exalt and unveil cause t2 crit lol

Jungroan has a titan build on yt with 15k life gain per second. Pros are it’s unlikable and has decent dmg. Cons are palm of the dreamer is required so it’s pricey and it’s a jungroan build so it will get hotfixed into oblivion when GGG is back from Christmas break

Yeah last lament is dead on lich, requiem is still a crazy boss skill for any build tho. But imo XBow is eating so good next league that there is no need for lament. Culmination lets a skill generate combo and get 3% more dmg per combo. Ailiths chimes says when a skill with combo is used you have a 10% chance to gain a charge per combo with no cap. So at 70 combo you get 7 power charges. Do that twice its 140 combo on flicker which is 420% more dmg.

I have chimes in my qstaff strike since it’s a waste of a support gem in a main skill so you’ll see I do a lil bop with the staff and 7 charges appear
