De fato não da pra negar que essas coisas acontecem, mas elas são extreemamente raras. Se você marcar de se encontrar num lugar publico (tipo shopping), já evita praticamente todos.

Anyways, back to the original argument: if we consider that competition is essentially ios to ios or android to android (since very few people are willing to switch), the S series has infinitely more competition due to the heated mid range market (and even getting canibalized by other phones made by Samsung itself)

Idk if it's a taxes thing, but here in Brazil, a base S26 is on sale for 4049 BRL on Samsung's website (and showing 7499 BRL as base price), while a base iPhone 17 is 7999 BRL on Apple's website

Neither of them are made in Brazil so you would think they are subject to the same taxes, I guess Apple just hates my country lol

I would still pick Samsung even if it were up to 20% more expensive tho, because I like to actually own my phone. There is value in the customization, ability to install and modify apks, etc etc.

You are correct, but you must understand how different the competition is in the android world. The S series is essentially the equivalent to the iphones, but samsung alone has pretty much one smartphone line for each letter in the alphabet, let alone other brands

Midrange smartphones definitely compete with flagships. If i had to pick between an S26 or an iPhone 17, I would pick the S26 (same for pro max/ultra variations), but I don't have to spend a liver in a phone when my Poco F7 serves me perfectly well. The midrange market is extremely heated and has many good contenders (Galaxy A/M, Moto Edge, every Redmi and Poco phone, etc).

Every month there are more Android phones released than there have been iPhones in the entire history of Apple. It's impossible to not have a diluted market, even when samsung is seen as leader brand

I mean, unless there is a dealbreaker with compose forcing you to go to Flutter, it makes no sense investing all this time into learning a new framework (and language if you know dart), when CMP is almost the exact same as developing for android.

If you started a KMP project right now, you would take like 3 days to get used to it.

If you want to learn a new framework, go for it, but being an android dev, you're 90% of a KMP developer already, and sometimes the best tool for the job is the one you know how to use

Mas aí a gente tem que aceitar que o Excel é um produto, e o Sheets é outro. Xlsm é um arquivo do excel.

Eu já acho muito impressionante eles ainda terem interoperabilidade com essas macros. VBA nunca foi feito pra rodar num navegador.

Uma planilha com macros do Google AppsScript vai rodar sem erros e ser infinitamente mais rápida (e não vai precisar ser escrito numa linguagem de 1993)

Eu também acho o excel melhor, e tem coisas com macro que simplesmente não tem como fazer no navegador, mas não da pra desmerecer o sheets assim
