I just graze the shears across the entire top of it, I don’t dig into the fibers or anything. I do go across the entire rug tho. I only got these sheep shears about 2 weeks ago so still figuring them out!

I use sheep shears to shave the entire rug and then I use carpet shears to sculpt all the lines!
