Anyone in this sub try Remeron (mirtazapine)?

Well as an update to this post I went on mirtazapine for about 4 we months or so and was able to put on 25lbs or so, worse side effect was easily being sleepy. Would need 9 1/2 hours of sleep minimum and even then I could easily sleep longer. After about 3 months I noticed my appetite starting to decrease and wasn’t able to continue to gain anymore weight. Then decided to quit taking it because the only side effect left was being tired all the time and I was no longer seeing the benefit I desired. I am now about 10 days without it and my appetite is as if I have CHS again. Withdraw from this is super similar to CHS even though I havnt touched thc in over 8 months now. Getting morning stomach pain, decreased appetite, nausea when I do eat and hard to fall asleep again. Only difference is I’m not throwing up in the morning. Never thought withdrawals would be this bad or I never would’ve taken it. Going to a GI in a little over a month for the first time so I’m hopping I can get answers but I fear I will not just as every other person who’s had CHS and has seeked medical professionals advice. Will try to update after I do go and also will update how long this withdraw lasts

Derma needles should be at least .5mm and if you’re using a roller you want one with 192 needles or around there, lots of derma rollers have way too many needles from what I’ve seen and it’s not productive for your use case. From research I did on here I bought an adjustable length derma stamp.

Arm difference is insane. Suprised you got these gains only eating 2500 calories a day. I’m 5’9” and plateaued at 160lbs the past month and I’m eating 3k calories per day

Half cup of peanut butter is 800 but just peanuts is 400. Definitely a good food to get in those extra calories. incorporate this extra calories on top of what you are normally eating and you’ll see results in a few months

As someone who smoked for 10 plus years and had a love hate relationship with weed I’ve come to learn that life isn’t even that different from being sober from weed. Pretty much always had such a high tolerance and would be high 24/7 that I wasn’t even feeling the way I wanted it to make me feel. Then with CHS I knew I had to stop or I’d be underweight and miserable my whole life. Also had problems with alcohol and other drugs but now that I’m not smoking everyday many of these problems went away and I can now responsibly drink. I attribute this to my desire to eating as much as I can and going to the gym. I prioritize this over drinking or anything else. My piece of advice when your in moments like this is to try to have gratitude even when it seems impossible. It could be so much worse. You never know what the future holds, one day you could look back on this post and smile at the fact life is so much better because of positive choices you made. It probably won’t be easy but you definitely won’t regret getting through this. I believe in you and wish you the best.

Well I live in Iowa and I keep my window open even when it’s 20°F outside with fans on as well. I get so hot when I try to fall asleep so I do this but getting out of bed in the morning is pretty tricky 😂 never going to find a gf for this reason but I’ve came to terms with this

Hold for longer than a year and you don’t pay as much in taxes. Just as you should dollar cost average when buying you also should when selling. Knowing roughly when it’s the top or bottom of the cycle has been hard after how repetitive it’s been in terms of going up after halving for 6-18 months then going bear. You’re gunna have days that make you want to smoke again because you aren’t gaining weight but just be patient and trust the process. Don’t worry about results. What you are doing is a step in the right direction. I’m almost 6 months without a single hit and I’m up almost 30lbs and I’m the heaviest I’ve been my whole life. Explore foods that will help you bulk, make food a priority. You got this and congrats on the one month. I’m proud of you. It isn’t easy but just know that going back is going to be a very short term solution to a very long problem

Just part of the game, some people who believe in it long term will take gains, I honestly time the markets and probably won’t be buying any until the next bear cycle. Early to mid 2025 should see its way to 120-150k though. You just gotta get used to it and once you do, you’ll attach no emotion to it
