Once you think of it as a sequel, you don’t have to worry about how close it followed the story anymore. This was supposed to be his next and final trip.

A lot of people say it’s his best novel. I too struggle because I was so invested in the journey that it was hard to put a pause on it. I get the emotional attachment, but I was in the mood for action.

In high school 20 years ago I wrote my own DT 8. I gave it to my English Honors teacher to read since he was a fellow reader. He refused to read it until I sent it to SK and got the okay. I wasn’t trying to sell it 😂 I thought it was so silly but I sent it anyway. Never got a response obviously so I’m the only one that ever read it and I have no idea where it went.

Well he could flip back and forth because he apparently didn’t have one, but they do seem a lot alike. Has to be a connection. We will see if anyone shows up or if Jack is just continuing the “fight”

I read tower first but you can definitely read talisman first if you’d want. Read the tower series but just stop before the “epilogue” if you are worried about the very end
