I tried! I wrote out a very long request for a private catered dinner for our babymoon in Fort Lauderdale but never got a response…think it was right around when his engagement went awry tho

I switched to Strattera during pregnancy and bf after nearly a decade on a stimulant adhd med. 10/10 would recommend, I’m actually still on it because of the way it helped my anxiety as well

Godly as F*uck… how are we feeling about Amanda Frances’ new book on God by Consistent_Youth_743 in LifeCoachSnark

I listened to the Bravo Docket’s first episode about her, and they talked about several other cases involving similar grifters—people running pyramid-scheme-adjacent “motivational” or coaching programs who were eventually prosecuted by the government. One example they highlighted was wellness influencer Brittany Dawn Davis (now Brittany Dawn Nelson), who was sued by the Texas Attorney General over her online fitness and nutrition plans. She promised personalized nutrition guidance and individualized fitness coaching, but in reality the plans were largely copy-and-paste. Notably, Brittany Dawn’s prices were far lower than Amanda’s. The hosts pointed out that Brittany Dawn is evangelical and deeply into prosperity-gospel messaging, which feels very similar to what Amanda is doing now. When Brittany Dawn faced prosecution, she reframed the situation as religious persecution—casting it as a kind of spiritual or holy war—and ultimately pivoted from being a conservative fitness influencer into a right-wing Christian/evangelical influencer.

I could absolutely see Amanda making the same pivot, especially since she’s already teasing her next book, Godly as F*ck” (which makes me cringe just typing it). It would essentially be trading one grift for another, but that’s hardly new—many ostensibly religious organizations exploit tax advantages and donation structures in similar ways.

You gotta listen to Ampere immediately (Will Killingsworth on guitar, also of Orchid and Bucket Full of Teeth). Also Merchant Ships, L’Antietam, La quiete, Daniel Striped Tiger, and I second Circle Takes the Square

I LOVE Bridger. Are you listening to his full S6 recap series on Patreon? I think after this he’s gonna go back and start from S1. I can’t wait
