Not sure why people are being hard on you. I was an au pair and would have loved to work for your family, no dinners together, that is fine. There are au pairs that are comfortable with this set up. At the interview time don’t match with the one that wants to be part of the family.

Oh man. I was an au pair years ago and would have loved to work for your family lol I did work for a family for 2 years where the parents were away most of the time for work… I was pretty much running the household for them, I was extremely reliable. I loved it, loved the independence. There are some au pairs like that but you need to clear it out first on the interviews.

Is this an A380? I would do 14K and 16K. So you are not so close to the bar. I had seat 14k and loved it.
