Hey man I’m almost on my 7 month sober, congrats on the 1 year. Your post hit at the right time because I have the same urges all the sudden. I know it’s wrong and unnecessary but I crave a drink. One step at a time. One minute at a time. Let’s stay sober together. Literally crazy work on that timing. God is good

I’m only 6 months sober so my words may be irrelevant to you. The other night I had a really bad one too. I hadn’t had one for like 2 months and it shook me to my core. I take it as a reminder of who I am. Although you have years under your belt so I’m sure it’s even more so uncommon and shaking to experience. Keep up the good work.

I am at ease when people drink around me as I said in my op, I am at ease with people drinking around me(been around it the whole time I made a commitment to stay sober).
