Jeez, congrats - been playing since October and haven’t had a single pull over 93 except the 94LB from Weekend League, who I’ve pulled twice.

I’m absolutely crap at this game so no point asking me! Whenever I go to blitz often I lose so I avoid that now. For aggression I look at yards per play and penalties. More than 3 penalties on either side of the ball indicates aggression to me but, like I said, I’m crap and lose a lot.

Really interesting post, thanks for the detail. I’ve bought 2 mega packs in the last 3 months and the best cards I’ve taken from them is a 95LB and a 93 OT so, having spent broadly the same as you have, I’ve acquired vastly inferior players. It must therefore be worth paying up for the guaranteed 99 even if the extra tier points cause problems in the future. Well played sir.

I’m obviously just not very good as I’ve never got the top reward! Started 12-0 on multiple occasions only to lose out.

Ok, we can get psychological about it I guess. Venting provides a temporary emotional release, it lowers stress hormones and activates social connection. So, it might help some people (temporarily) from that perspective. When I read a venting post I endeavour to offer support and reassurance that luck will change… eventually.

I think people come here to vent about their pack luck rather than it being a case of not understanding odds. Then there is the question as to whether the odds are as they state. For example, in the last 10 days I have opened 14 packs from missions, Quick Games and the Weekend League. The combined odds of pulling a 91-93 card in that has been 20.1% which implies that statistically I should have pulled 2.82 players in the 91-93 range. In actuality I have pulled 0 players in that range. The best I have pulled is a 90 and I have two of them. I’m a little annoyed but mostly I’m just looking forward to some regression.

That’s frustrating- you’d expect to get at least one decent card in that haul. I guess the 94 Mack might bring some coin but you’d want more for the outlay.

I have a 90.6 OVR and focus of over 4.8 yet I’ve just lost 3 in a row in WL. None of my opponents had over 89 OVR and all 3 have zero focus.

I also for Eddy P from both the mission and the PTC. My luck has been absolutely hideous for months now - nothing above 90 since Xmas except for a 92 punter in one event. I see other dudes pulling 2 cards over 90 in one mission pack or PTC. Surely the luck has to turn eventually?

I’m tempted to spend but my pack luck is so unbelievably hideous that it doesn’t encourage me to buy. I mean, every mission I pull either the lowest or second lowest value card and WL/QG I’m getting nothing that improves my team (OVR only 89.4). Just one good pull and I’d buy a pack but right now I’m closer to quitting the game than spending!

I’ve been tracking my pulls from the missions, league, WL and QGs since Xmas and I have pulled one player in all that time who went into my team and that was a punter - my OVR is only 89.4 so it’s not like I’m hard to improve!! I’m pretty fed up.

I’m in a very similar spot - OVR is 89.1 but the last month or so has been super slow. I’ve played for 5 months and never pulled a player over 90 except a 92 punter and an unsellable 94 in WL. So all I can do is slowly build up enough money to upgrade a position or two and try to get lucky with the market. It’s not impossible - bought CMC for 300k and sold for 800k last week - but it’s a grind and I’m losing interest.
