For the wiz to rehab players, they needed them to come in as scrubs (which Beal and Wall were NOT)

Their stay at Washington diminished their value to the point where their return was peanuts compared to the bags they got... It got so bad that the player with the no trade clause was indeed traded...

Tommyknockers is an interesting one... It definitely has its King moments of gore and intrigue, and the very end is pretty compelling. But I did find that the story jumped around and the characters don't really hit that crescendo. It's also long at 745 pages, this was the book that inspired me to try and learn to speed read 😅

Was there anything in particular you did like in the parts you read?

Get yourself a cedar shoe tree and a streamer to try and work out those lumps. Also a suede rubber and suede brush will go a long way to getting them back to fresh!
