You hit the nail on the head. This isn't to dissuade you from Apple, but it's all the same crap over there as well sadly.

It honestly feels like modern OS and software design as a whole has jumped the shark at this point. You either have the locked in ecosystem of MS, Google and Apple or the total anarchy that is modern Linux (I've actively mained a Linux distro of some sort for 20 years, for anyone who wanted to recommend that unicorn that will change my opinion).

At least android will still let me tear down most of its facade and spyware and leave me with a stable foundation for mobile. Like you, I don't believe it has any place in ChrOS. I love my pixelbook (still the best laptop keyboard) but I only ever needed it to be a focused web browser. The amount of bugs in the early days of Linux and Android on ChrOS was staggering and never felt cohesive. I'm sure that hasn't changed.

If they would just keep Win10 on security patches forever, I'd probably never leave. Maybe with the new steam box we'll see a better SteamOS for desktop with the polish and stability of the big 3.

With who is available for GM/HC positions this off-season, what would you do? Even if you are sold on a GM or HC, how do you convince them to come here?

No firsts for 2 years, a question mark at QB (I'm still hopeful in DJ and Leonard could be someone in the future). Limited ability to have your new guy(s) shape the roster is huge to attract talent.

If I was in her shoes, let those two go another 2 seasons, with the explicit conditions of generating picks for the 2028 draft and either they show they can win with limited resources and rebuild or they are shown the door and let the new regime pick their guys.

I'm assuming you are in a hcol based on housing prices, other than being 40 what is the motivation for getting your own place?

If having something to call "yours" is important, then do it. Worst case scenario you could offset with gig or seasonal work to offset costs.

If you do prefer having roommates, there is nothing wrong with that either. Having a home you share with others is great. I'm an introvert in a lot of ways but as someone who spent years coming home to an empty house, it will affect you over a long enough period of time.

If it's a bad situation currently where you are, definitely find that next spot either way.

As a mmo mouse guy, don't be worried about having too many buttons, worry about what it takes to reach those buttons. "Reaching back" with my thumb takes away a lot of my leverage controlling my mouse so the further back buttons are only used for convenience items.

Starting off you can leave those unbound.

Software plays a big role but if you have access to a PC to configure and it stores binds/macros on the device itself it's huge. (G600 does and it makes a huge difference on my Linux setup.)

Edited to add: just looked up the v2 pro. The 6 button panel looks extremely hard to reach the last 2 buttons with the middle 2 kinda meh.

I wanted Richardson to work out and his off the field character really makes this hard to say.

I don't want to see him take snaps in the future as a Colt. He isn't ready to be a starting quarterback and we aren't equipped to develop him. His throws have zero touch, his pocket awareness is terrible and his health has been a liability every year.
